Tranquil Water Gardens has spearheaded the Garden of Hope project for the Gloria Gemma Breast Cancer Foundation. At the 2012 RI Spring Flower and Garden Show, TWG won the People's Choice Award for it's 2000 sqft interactive display which gave survivors and loved ones the opportunity to place a ribbon with a message in the Garden. By the end of the 4 day show, more than 1,300 ribbons were placed in the Garden.
This spring we installed our first Garden of Hope for an individual undergoing treatment for breast cancer. This garden was designed and created by TWG, volunteers from the Bristol 4th of July Parade Committee, friends, and members of the Gloria Gemma Foundation. The Pink Chair is our trademark for our projects.
In October of 2011, Tranquil Water Gardens donated a professionally installed Japanese Garden at the Flames of Hope Waterfire event. Tens of thousands of visitors enjoyed this peaceful meditation garden. The garden featured a raked peastone rock garden as well as a Koi Pond. In October of 2012, Tranquil Water Gardens installed a Garden of Hope display with our signature Pink Chair a the Flames of Hope Waterfire event in Providence, Rhode Island.
